Located in the heart of Upper Montclair, The Bellevue was reopened by Montclair Film in 2025 as a three screen cinema showing the best current releases and in-demand films. Originally opened in 1922, the theater has been updated to foster community and conversations around the art of film giving the neighborhood an accessible cultural destination.

Box office opens 15 minutes before first screening of the day and closes 15 minutes after the last screening of the day
Regular film screenings are usually scheduled one week in advance.
The Bellevue is a landmarked building and is not fully ADA accessible. There is wheelchair accessible seating in Theater 1. Theaters 2 & 3 are upstairs with no elevator access. Anyone with difficulties climbing stairs or requiring wheelchair access should only purchase tickets to shows in Theater 1. Films are rotated so every film plays in Theater 1 once per day.
