Montclair Film, New Jersey’s leading film non-profit, today announced leadership for its 2026 Board of Trustees. Mary Anne Vaughn, the immediate past Vice President Of The Board of Trustees, was unanimously elected President of The Montclair Film Board of Trustees, with Trustee Sarah Barrack unanimously elected to the role of Vice President. The election was held by the Board Of Trustees on March 30, 2026, with both terms beginning on April 1, 2026, the beginning of the organization’s fiscal year.

After serving as an officer of the Montclair Film Board of Trustees for the last 15 years, Evelyn Colbert has stepped down as President, but was unanimously elected to the position of President Emeritus in recognition of her transformational contributions to the growth and success of Montclair Film. “I love Montclair Film because I love the people by whom I am surrounded,” said Board President Mary Anne Vaughn. “I am so grateful for Evie’s mentorship and leadership. I believe in our mission, am so incredibly proud to have been chosen to be the next leader of the Board, and am excited to collaborate with our amazingly talented staff.”

“We are excited to welcome Mary Anne Vaughn and Sarah Barrack in their new leadership roles,” said Montclair Film Executive Director and Co-Head Tricia Haggerty Wenz. “Mary Anne’s longstanding commitment to our mission and Sarah’s leadership experience on our Board are tremendous assets to our organization. And with Evie Colbert’s continued stewardship of Montclair Film, we remain excited for the future.”
